I rarely take self-portraits. Mostly because I'm way too self-critical, and using myself as a model for serious photo projects would only result in me finding 1001 flaws in the way I end up looking in the photo and never feel like submitting it to, for instance, devart. But I had this dream of climbing on top of the washing machines in my basement, so one day I enlisted my sister as my assistant, put on my new dress (which btw, symbolizes what I would assume it would be like to play backgammon while on drugs) and my favourite high heeled shoes and my silly little wig and carried my camera down to the basement. And there I took these photos (well, technically my sister took them since I can’t be both behind and in front of the camera but I gave her instructions on how the composition and stuff should be). I like washing machines, they always look so cute. As do phone booths, which I think is going to be my next self portrait-project.

You are very pretty. You also have awesome fashion. My self portraits don't come out as succesfully--I always set the camera and it takes the picture quicker than I expect.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
