While Andreas was off answering his cellphone, I took a couple of solo portraits of Towe in her wedding outfit. She looked so beautiful that I really couldn't resist, even though I was supposed to take photos of them together :)

The copies that I got back from the lab were all really dark, and I thought the photos were underexposed and unusable. But then I went down to the dark room and tried to copy them myself, and to my great pleasure it turned out that they were not unusable, it was simply the lab that were lousy at making copies. I guess that you get what you pay for.

Model: Towe
Camera: Canon EOS 300
Film: Fujichrome Provia 100
The slide film used has been cross-processed (that is, developing positive slide film in the process ordinarily used for developing colour negative film), hence the slighly unreal colours and contrast.
No photoshop except for dust removal.

this is definitly one of the most sensational portraits ive seen here in the last couple of months. this extraordinary bride definitly got the out of the ordinary portrait she deserves. i can not outline enough the importance of people shooting on chemical film in all this climate of digital revolution. the colors are wickedly charming. i just love it.

i think this will make me buy some slide films tomorow... :-)
