A month ago, I had the great honour of shooting some of Towe and Andreas wedding photos. As some of you might remember, I took their engagement photos last spring and now the time had come for them to be wed. They wanted someone to take some photos with cross-processed film, so while my sister took some ordinary colour photos I used a slide film that was then cross-processed (developed as a regular negative colour film, to produce strong contrast and vibrant colours). Cross-processing film is always a bit of a gamble, sometimes the colours and lighting turn out nice and sometimes you get the most awful skin tones ever imagined. This time, the result was somewhat inbetween the two. Some of the photos turned out rather nice, while others looked kinda strange. This is one of the better photos, I like the colours in it and it hasn't got too much of the motion blur that many of the photos unfortunately got. If you think that their poses are too not-wedding-photoish, please bear in mind that I never intended to take classical wedding photos with classical poses and smily faces. The couple specifically asked for more "normal" pictures, for me to treat this session as I treat my ordininary model photo sessions.
Anyway, I'm very happy that I got the chance to try my hand at wedding photography. It's always nice to try something new, although I think I might be to self-critical to ever dare to take on the responsibility of shooting official wedding photos.
I wish Towe and Andreas all the best in the future, Towe is one of my most beloved models and it's nice to see great things like this happening in her life
oh wow, this is a beautiful picture. so unlike a regular wedding picture, much darker and more unique, but it seems that because it's so unique, it seems even MORE beautiful

Well` first of all ... let me say BRAVO to YOU for having the guts to accept such a great honour, many people do not have the bottle to take people`s wedding photo`s and it is a great test of your talent`s to be able to adjust to such a tricky job. now to the picture` what can I say ? ummm .... they look very gothicy and very happy too .... but not too much Wedding Glossy ... if you get my drift ?.
they wanted normal ! and that is what they got ... you could honestly ask anyone in the street and they would say " what a nice picture " so` you net your target,
the picture is great to look at and the colour`s are really beautiful too .... I know nothing about the process you were talking about ? ... but my advice to you is .... use it more often because the results are great.
Thank you for sending me this fine picture
and
please post more of them.
I love the colors and tones. And I like how it's not a classical wedding portrait. It's more unique and their own I guess you could say. They make a really good looking couple too

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
